Ironarch Technologies

IronArch is a veteran-owned federal consulting firm that helps defense and civilian agencies modernize through cloud, cybersecurity, and digital transformation. Their capabilities were strong — their website wasn't keeping up. They needed a complete redesign that could speak to federal decision-makers, support recruitment, and position IronArch as a leader in a space crowded with firms that all sound the same.

A veteran-owned federal tech firm with serious capabilities and a website that didn't reflect any of them. We changed that.

CHALLENGE:

Federal consulting websites have a sameness problem. Blue gradients, stock imagery, vague language about "innovative solutions" — the sector is visually and verbally interchangeable. IronArch had real differentiators: veteran-owned, nine-time "Best Places to Work" winner, trusted by the Army Corps of Engineers, VA, and DHS. But none of that was landing on their old site.

The new site needed to do three jobs at once: convince federal procurement officers that IronArch is a serious partner, attract top technical talent in a competitive hiring market, and communicate a people-first culture that's unusual in the GovTech space. Three audiences, three goals, one site.

THE APPROACH:

We ran the full engagement through Creative Cycle — from stakeholder discovery through UX strategy, visual design, content, and development.

The information architecture was rebuilt around the way federal buyers actually evaluate contractors: capabilities first, proof second, culture third. We stripped the jargon and replaced it with direct language about what IronArch does and who they do it for — Army, Navy, VA, DHS, Air Force — names that carry weight in this space.

Visually, we designed a system that felt modern and confident without losing the gravitas that federal audiences expect. Strong typography, intentional white space, and a restrained color palette that signals professionalism without blending into the sea of navy-blue GovTech sites. The veteran-owned identity and core values are woven throughout — not as a sidebar, but as a structural element of the narrative.

Recruitment got its own dedicated pathway. Instead of burying careers in the footer, we built a full talent acquisition experience — culture storytelling, benefits, and direct access to open roles. For a firm that's won "Best Places to Work" nine times, the careers section needed to perform as hard as the services section.

IronArch knew what they were — a veteran-owned firm with serious technical depth and a culture people actually want to be part of. The old site just couldn't translate that. This project was about closing the gap between who they are and how they're perceived. That's the work.

RESULTS:

• Fully redesigned website delivered and launched

• Modern, accessible experience built for federal decision-makers and recruits

• Clear differentiation in the competitive federal consulting landscape

• Dedicated recruitment pathway supporting talent acquisition goals

• Scalable design system built for ongoing content and growth
